Calcium carbonate, vitamin D3.
Each tablet contains Calcium Carbonate 1500 mg equivalent to Calcium 600 mg, Vitamin D3 200 I.U.
CALVIN 600+D contains calcium which provides more calcium for bones and contains vitamin D which help the absorption of calcium. CALVIN 600+D can be taken with multivitamin.
CALVIN 600+D can be given as an adjunct to prevent osteoporosis.
Take 1 - 2 tablets once a day. The doses should be divided by taking in the morning and at night or as directed by physician.
Use in impaired renal function: Clcr < 25 ml/minute: Dosage adjustments may be necessary depending on the serum calcium level.
Hypersensitivity to any component of this medication, hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, hypophosphatemia.
Daily dose of calcium should not be above 2000 mg.
Tetracyclines, Iron Salts, Verapamil, Fluoride, Fluoroquinolones, Bisphosphonates: Calcium reduces the absorption of these drugs clinically significant.
Digoxin: Calcium may potentiate digoxin toxicity.
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
